Life Has A Funny Way
As Alanis Morressete said in Ironic, life has a funny way of creepy up on you and I truely believe this to be true. Especially after yesterday, when I found out that a very good friend of my brother and I was diagnosed with Leukemia. That’s right Leukemia. It started as tonsilitis and then the diagnosis was changed to glandular fever, but now they have concluded that he does in fact have Leukemia. So for the next month he will be stuck in hospital and be subjected to all sorts of test and chemotherapy. I’m not a hundered percent on the specifics cause we’re all still a little shell shocked. I just can’t believe that this is happening, it all just feels like a bad dream, that we are all waiting to wake up from.

Dancing Princess
So there was the movie that I loved when I was a child, called the dancing princesses and almost everytime we would go to the video store I would hire it. It was my favourite movie ever. However when DVD’s came out my movie didn’t so I haven’t watched it in at least 10 years. However I decided that I was going to see if it came out anywhere else in the world, and low and behold it had come out in America. So I ordered it online and yesterday I got my DVD. So I immediately played it and it was as good as I remembered, which was suprising. So the basic storyline in that there are six princesses and they wear out there dancing slippers every night, so the king employs a soldier to find out where the princesses go and in turn win one of the princesses as his bride and become the heir to the kingdom. It turns out that the princesses in fact go to a secret world and dance the night away with six princes. The soldier is successful and finds out the princesses secret in turn winning his bride. I know it sounds a little corny, but it is in fact one of the best fairy tales there is. So i suggest that if you can you watch it.

An Oath to uphold pollution
Well as you all know I work in retail, which means that I, among other thing contribute greatly to this little problem that we have called pollution. I am a huge environmentalist, ok well I wouldn’t say huge but I am concerned greatly with the future of the plant if we go on abusing it the way we are. To curb my impact I avoid plastic bags wherever possible, as I believe that this simple at can have a huge effect on the pollution problem. That being said, it is against every part of my being to be so complacent about such things as plastic bags, but i have taken an oath to uphold the customer service morals of retail, which involves catering customers every whim, including bag distribution. So if you want a bag for that tiny little item that could easily be carried or placed in your handbag I will kindly oblige, or a bag for the 20 rolls of toilet paper that you just brought with a handle on the bag I will kindly oblige and my personal favourite a bag for the backpack that you just brought all you need to do is ask nicely and I will kindly oblige, all the while smiling and acting politely whilst cursing you on the inside. So my plea is this ……. take you green bags to the shops and when possible say no to plastic. Mother Earth will thank you
